Job summary

AbbVie Inc. seeks a CDSO Data Strategy Lead to own all data-related study start-up deliverables from protocol development through system go-live. You will partner with clinical teams to embed data strategies, standards, and technologies into study plans and drive timely delivery.

You will lead cross-functional collaboration, manage risk, and coach team members, ensuring compliance with GCP, ICH, and AbbVie standards while innovating processes and improving efficiency across trials.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, MIS, CS, life sciences or equivalent; Master’s preferred.
• 6+ years pharma/clinical research/data management or 8+ years PM experience.
• Deep understanding of clinical trial processes and clinical tech.
• Experience leading in a matrix environment.
• Proven ability to influence without direct authority.
• Strong communication and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as CDSO start-up SME and single contact for assigned studies.
• Lead data management study start-up end-to-end to enable on-time study start.
• Ensure consistency in data strategy, standards, and CRFs.
• Translate complex data concepts into actionable guidance.
• Drive data quality, governance, and regulatory compliance.
• Coach and mentor team members.
• Lead CDSO innovation and cross-functional initiatives.
