Job summary

Hoag Memorial Hospital Presbyterian is seeking a Clinical Data Coordinator to support departments by collecting data, performing analyses, and resolving data discrepancies using Epic, MagView, and other systems. Using Epic, MagView, and other systems, you will develop metric tracking and collaborate across Infection Prevention, Nursing Education, Neurosciences, Breast Care, and Diabetes Center.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in regulatory registry data gathering and entry with general office and administrative experience, preferably in a healthcare setting.
• Experience and or training with healthcare information system and terminology.
• Knowledge of applications in one of the functional areas(e.g. scheduling, clinical orders, revenue cycle).
• Associate’s Degree or Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite. Experience with Qlikview, EPIC, MIDAS, Chartmaxx, NHSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collects data, conducts analyses, and benchmarks performance metrics.
• Coordinates cross-functional teams to achieve department goals.
• Supports Sepsis, Diabetes Center, and other programs with data insights.
• Ensures regulatory registry data integrity and timely reporting.
