Job summary

Holcomb Behavioral Health Systems in Reading, PA is seeking a Clinical Coordinator to guide the Crisis Intervention Program. You will supervise a dedicated team, ensure best-practice care, and help clients navigate their path to recovery.

This role blends clinical leadership with hands-on service: supervise staff, manage program operations, and provide direct client services when needed, ensuring licensing and quality standards while coordinating with departments to keep the program audit-ready.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in a clinical behavioral health discipline
  • 3+ years post-degree experience in behavioral health with supervisory responsibility
  • Licensure and/or certification strongly preferred
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

  • Lead & supervise: overtake clinical and nonclinical staff, provide regular supervision, and train staff
  • Drive program excellence: manage daily crisis intervention operations and ensure compliance with standards
  • Support clients in crisis: provide direct services when needed and refer to appropriate levels of care

Chimes is seeking a Clinical Coordinator to guide the day-to-day operations of our Crisis Intervention Program — supervising a dedicated team, ensuring best-practice care, and helping clients navigate their path to recovery.

  • Program: Crisis Intervention Program

  • Location: West Reading, PA

  • Schedule: Various hours

  • Pay Rate: $60,000+ /year


What You'll Do


  • Lead & Supervise: Oversee clinical and nonclinical staff, provide regular individual and group supervision, conduct performance evaluations, and train staff to excel in their roles.

  • Drive Program Excellence: Manage daily operations of the crisis intervention program, ensure services meet licensing, regulatory, and best-practice standards, and maintain full program coverage.

  • Support Clients in Crisis: Provide direct services as needed, make prompt referrals to appropriate levels of care, and ensure staff and clients can access community resources when it counts.

  • Manage the Business Side: Oversee program budgeting, billing, payroll submissions, and expense tracking in coordination with the Accounting Department.

  • Ensure Quality & Compliance: Monitor performance improvement data, respond to client concerns, report incidents promptly, and keep the program audit‑ready at all times.

  • Collaborate & Represent: Build strong relationships with clients, families, payers, and community partners, and represent Chimes at interagency meetings.


What You Bring

Education & Experience



  • Master's degree in a clinical behavioral health discipline

  • 3+ years of post‑degree experience in behavioral health, including 1+ year of increasing supervisory responsibility

  • Licensure and/or certification strongly preferred


Required Clearances



  • Pennsylvania Act 33 Clearance

  • Pennsylvania Act 34 Clearance

  • Verification of no Medicaid/Medicare exclusion status

Clearances: Pennsylvania Child Abuse, Criminal and fingerprint‑based federal criminal history; Verification that employee is not on any Medicaid/Medicare Exclusion list


Note: At the discretion of the Personnel Officer, additional related experience and/or education may be substituted instead of the requirements specified under Education and Experience
