Job summary

Chimes is seeking a Clinical Coordinator to lead the Crisis Intervention Program in West Reading, PA. You will supervise clinical and nonclinical staff, ensure high‑quality care, and guide clients through recovery pathways.

The role blends leadership with hands‑on crisis services, program operations, and compliance to licensing standards, with opportunities to support diverse communities and collaborate across teams.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in a clinical behavioral health discipline is required.
  • 3+ years of post-degree experience in behavioral health, including 1+ year of supervisory responsibility.
  • Licensure and/or certification strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee clinical and nonclinical staff, provide supervision, conduct performance evaluations, and train staff to excel in their roles.
  • Manage daily operations of the crisis intervention program, ensure services meet licensing, regulatory, and best-practice standards, and maintain full program coverage.
  • Provide direct services as needed and make prompt referrals to appropriate levels of care.
  • Oversee program budgeting, billing, payroll submissions, and expense tracking with Accounting.

Job Details
  • Program: Crisis Intervention Program
  • Location: West Reading, PA
  • Schedule: Various hours
  • Pay Rate: $60,000+ /year
What You'll Do
  • Lead & Supervise: Oversee clinical and nonclinical staff, provide regular individual and group supervision, conduct performance evaluations, and train staff to excel in their roles.
  • Drive Program Excellence: Manage daily operations of the crisis intervention program, ensure services meet licensing, regulatory, and best-practice standards, and maintain full program coverage.
  • Support Clients in Crisis: Provide direct services as needed, make prompt referrals to appropriate levels of care, and ensure staff and clients can access community resources when it counts.
  • Manage the Business Side: Oversee program budgeting, billing, payroll submissions, and expense tracking in coordination with the Accounting Department.
  • Ensure Quality & Compliance: Monitor performance improvement data, respond to client concerns, report incidents promptly, and keep the program audit-ready at all times.
  • Collaborate & Represent: Build strong relationships with clients, families, payers, and community partners, and represent Chimes at interagency meetings.
What You Bring

Education & Experience

  • Master's degree in a clinical behavioral health discipline
  • 3+ years of post‑degree experience in behavioral health, including 1+ year of increasing supervisory responsibility
  • Licensure and/or certification strongly preferred

Required Clearances

  • Pennsylvania Act 33 Clearance
  • Pennsylvania Act 34 Clearance
  • Verification of no Medicaid/Medicare exclusion status

Clearances: Pennsylvania Child Abuse, Criminal and fingerprint‑based federal criminal history; Verification that employee is not on any Medicaid/Medicare Exclusion list

Note: At the discretion of the Personnel Officer, additional related experience and/or education may be substituted instead of the requirements specified under Education and Experience
