Job summary

Chimes is seeking a Clinical Coordinator to lead the Crisis Intervention Program in Reading, PA. You will supervise clinical and nonclinical staff, ensure regulatory compliance, and coordinate services for clients in crisis.

The role combines clinical leadership with hands-on service delivery, involving budgeting, staff development, and interagency collaboration within a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in a clinical behavioral health discipline.
  • 3+ years of post-degree experience in behavioral health, including 1+ year of increasing supervisory responsibility.
  • Licensure and/or certification strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead & supervise: Oversee clinical and nonclinical staff, provide regular supervision, conduct evaluations, and train staff.
  • Drive program excellence: Manage daily operations, ensure services meet licensing, regulatory, and best-practice standards, and maintain full program coverage.
  • Support clients in crisis: Provide direct services as needed, make prompt referrals to appropriate levels of care, and help access community resources.
  • Manage the business side: Oversee program budgeting, billing, payroll submissions, and expenses with Accounting.
  • Ensure quality & compliance: Monitor data, respond to client concerns, report incidents, and keep the program audit-ready.
  • Collaborate & represent: Build relations with clients, families, payers, and partners; represent Chimes at meetings.

  • Schedule: Various hours
  • Pay Rate: $60,000+ /year
What You’ll Do
  • Lead & Supervise: Oversee clinical and nonclinical staff, provide regular individual and group supervision, conduct performance evaluations, and train staff to excel in their roles.
  • Drive Program Excellence: Manage daily operations of the crisis intervention program, ensure services meet licensing, regulatory, and best‑practice standards, and maintain full program coverage.
  • Support Clients in Crisis: Provide direct services as needed, make prompt referrals to appropriate levels of care, and ensure staff and clients can access community resources when it counts.
  • Manage the Business Side: Oversee program budgeting, billing, payroll submissions, and expense tracking in coordination with the Accounting Department.
  • Ensure Quality & Compliance: Monitor performance improvement data, respond to client concerns, report incidents promptly, and keep the program audit‑ready at all times.
  • Collaborate & Represent: Build strong relationships with clients, families, payers, and community partners, and represent Chimes at interagency meetings.
What You Bring

Education & Experience

  • Master's degree in a clinical behavioral health discipline
  • 3+ years of post‑degree experience in behavioral health, including 1+ year of increasing supervisory responsibility
  • Licensure and/or certification strongly preferred

Required Clearances

  • Pennsylvania Act 33 Clearance
  • Pennsylvania Act 34 Clearance
  • Verification of no Medicaid/Medicare exclusion status
