Job summary

Omega Healthcare Management Services is seeking a CPC/CRC credentialed Medical Coder with risk adjustment experience to abstract, code, and sequence clinical data from inpatient, outpatient, and other records in Boca Raton, FL.

You will work with 3M and Epic systems to assign principal and secondary diagnoses and procedures, ensuring coding accuracy and compliance with CMS guidelines for reimbursement.

Qualifications

• CPC/CCS/RHIT/RHIA/CRC or equivalent credential required.
• Minimum of 2 years’ credentialed Risk Adjustment experience.
• Minimum of 2 years’ 3M experience.
• Minimum of 2 years’ Epic experience.

Responsibilities

• Abstract and code clinical data from inpatient, outpatient, ED, pro fee and clinical records.
• Assign correct principal and secondary diagnoses and procedures with proper sequencing.
• Utilize DRG/APC reimbursement rules to assign codes.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and protect PHI in all duties.
• Track productivity and maintain 95% quality rating.
