Job summary

Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center is seeking a Clinical Center Associate to provide clerical support in the Diagnostic Radiology department. You will answer routine inquiries, screen calls, assist visitors and patients, and coordinate clinic schedules.

You will record and transcribe physician orders and manage the co-pay collection process, all while working under direct supervision in a confidential setting. The starting hourly rate is $21.81.

Qualifications

• Education must be from an accredited school or Roswell Park approved program.
• Clinical terminology knowledge required for some roles.
• Combination of education and administrative experience acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Provide clerical support in inpatient/outpatient centers and coordinate clinic schedules.
• Answer routine inquiries, screen calls, assist visitors and patients.
• Record and transcribe physician orders and manage co-pay collections.
• Work in a confidential environment under supervision with limited latitude.
• Participate in team activities and maintain organized front-desk operations.

Education

Medical Office Assistant Associate’s degree

Associate’s degree + 1 year clinical admin experience

High School diploma + Roswell Park Medical Assistant cert + 1 year admin exp

High School diploma + 2 years admin exp in clinical setting

High School diploma + 1 year customer service + traineeship at Roswell Park
