• Promotes good public relations for the Physician Services.
• Records temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure and weights as ordered.
• Assists in rooming patients and collecting/documenting patient data.
• Assists with diagnostic tests, procedures and specimen collection as required.
• Communicates with health care team to provide quality patient care.
• Performs core clinical skills such as EKGs and phlebotomy.
• Maintains proper use of patient care equipment and safety procedures.
• Identifies patients and labels specimens accurately.
• Documents all care provided in the medical record.
• Participates in quality improvement and professional development on the job.
