Job summary

Eventus WholeHealth in Wilmington, NC seeks a Clinician Support Specialist to back the clinical care team. You will coordinate workflows with APCs and facility staff, support clinical services, and enhance communication among patients, providers, and care teams.

You will assist with encounter documentation, scheduling, triage, and chart preparation while maintaining a high standard of patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Certified/Registered Medical Assistant, CNA, or PCT preferred.
• Minimum one year of patient care experience preferred; medical scribing experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare for daily clinical rounds with patient info, documentation and schedules.
• Assist clinicians with encounter documentation, data entry and chart prep.
• Coordinate and maintain accurate patient schedules, admissions, discharges, and changes.
• Act as liaison between clinicians, facility staff, patients and families.
• Assist with triage needs and documentation as directed by the clinician.
• Organize and manage clinical documentation including labs and records.
• Host and support telehealth visits for routine and acute care needs.
• Process patient consents and ensure proper routing of documentation.
• Participate in facility meetings and update the care team.
