Job summary

Twin Cities Orthopedics Rheumatology is hiring a Clinical Care Coordinator Float to support patient care and administrative tasks across multiple clinics. This casual role requires flexibility to work Monday–Friday with typical hours, in Woodbury, Hudson, Stillwater and Eagan locations.

The position emphasizes efficient patient flow, chart accuracy, and collaboration with providers. It offers a pathway to grow within a multi-site practice and requires CMA/LPN/ATC or related credentials and 1–3

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED is required.
• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification, Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), Athletic Trainer (ATC) or equivalent.
• Medical Assistant Certification from an accredited school preferred.
• 1-3 years’ experience in a medical clinic setting or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy experience preferred or willingness to become proficient.
• Demonstrated ability or experience in patient flow management, medical assisting, and confidential management of patient health information.
• Ability to multi-task to provide services to patients in a warm, professional manner.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, stock, and clean exam room.
• Prepare for clinic and surgeries, ensuring pertinent information is available in the chart for the physician prior to entering the patients’ room.
• Measure vital signs, including weight, blood pressure, pulse temperature, and document all information in patient’s chart.
• Room patients. Verify patient information by interviewing patient, recording medical history, confirming purpose of visit and updating chart history.
• Maintain an efficient, organized clinical flow.
• Assist with documentation of patient data into electronic health records system.
• Triage phone calls, review results management, enter and create patient lab orders, process specimens, and prepare for shipment daily.
