Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate Degree in Medical Assisting preferred.
• Experience in lieu of degree not accepted.
• BLS Certification preferred; CMA national certification preferred.
• 1–2 years MA or medical field experience required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to prioritize tasks; accuracy and confidentiality.
• Proficiency with EHR systems and medical office software; knowledge of medical terminology.
• Ability to maintain situational awareness, manage time, and adhere to privacy rules.

Responsibilities

• Welcome, interview, and assist patients while collecting vital signs and health information.
• Prepare patients, exam rooms, equipment, and supplies for visits.
• Accurately document patient information, medical histories, and test results.
• Support laboratory specimen collection and preparation.
• Assist with office duties, patient communication, and coordination with other departments.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized clinical environment.
