Job summary

Intermountain Health in Ogden seeks a Cardiac/Pulmonary Rehab Specialist to design and implement individualized rehab programs. You will assess patients, interpret ECGs, educate on medications and lifestyle, and develop treatment plans within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities include documenting progress, mentoring staff, and contributing to quality improvement while ensuring patient safety and satisfaction. A BS in related field and BLS-HCP/ACLS/PALS are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field (Exercise Physiology, Exercise Science, Kinesiology).
• Current BLS for Healthcare Providers (BLS-HCP).
• Current ACLS/PALS certification as required by the facility.
• Successfully completes a formal EKG interpretation and arrhythmia detection course within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and evaluate individualized cardiac/pulmonary rehab programs.
• Assess patients via medical history, vitals and ECG interpretation.
• Provide education on medications, stress management and lifestyle.
• Develop treatment plans and document progress.
• Mentor new staff and contribute to quality improvement.
