Intermountain Health in Murray, Utah seeks a Cardiac/Pulmonary Rehab Specialist to design, implement, and evaluate individualized exercise and lifestyle programs for patients recovering from cardiac or pulmonary events.

You will perform comprehensive assessments, monitor vitals, interpret ECGs, conduct functional tests, educate patients on medications and healthy habits, and coordinate care with a multidisciplinary team.

Formación

• Active enrollment in a bachelor’s program or bachelor’s degree in Exercise Physiology, Exercise Science, or Kinesiology.
• Current BLS-HCP certification.
• Current ACLS and/or PALS certification as required by facility.
• Must complete an EKG interpretation and arrhythmia detection course within 6 months of hire.

Responsabilidades

• Design, implement, and evaluate individualized exercise and lifestyle programs for cardiac/pulmonary rehab patients.
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments including medical history review, vital signs, ECG interpretation, and functional capacity testing.
• Educate patients on medication compliance, stress management, symptom recognition, and healthy lifestyle practices.
• Develop and update treatment plans; document thoroughly and ensure continuity of care.
• Mentor new staff, participate in quality improvement, and support safe, evidence-based practice.
