Job summary

Intermountain Health in Ogden, UT is seeking an entry-level Cardiac/Pulmonary Rehab Therapist to support monitoring, exercise implementation, and education in a structured rehab setting.

You will work with a multidisciplinary team, document data accurately, and help with safety and patient outcomes while adhering to AACVPR guidelines. Part-time, 20 hours weekly, with hourly compensation of $24.30–$37.52.

Qualifications

• Active enrollment in a bachelor’s program in Exercise Physiology/Exercise Science/Kinesiology
• Formal EKG interpretation course within 6 months of hire
• Basic clinical monitoring: vital signs & symptoms
• Foundational exercise instruction & safe equipment use
• Clear patient communication and education
• Ability to learn electronic documentation systems
• Team-oriented with guidance from clinical staff
• Current BLS-HCP certification

Responsibilities

• Monitor patients during exercise sessions and report concerns to supervising staff.
• Assist with and implement prescribed exercise programs using equipment and workloads.
• Document patient participation and clinical data accurately per AACVPR guidelines.
• Provide basic patient education and coaching on safe exercise practices and lifestyle modification.
• Support inpatient mobility and activities of daily living per delegated plans of care.
• Participate in safety, quality improvement, and staff orientation activities.
