Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree or enrollment in related field (Exercise Physiology, Exercise Science, Kinesiology).
• BLS-HCP certification current.
• ACLS or PALS as required by facility; ongoing training for emergency care.
• EKG interpretation and arrhythmia course to be completed within 6 months.

Aufgaben

• Designs and implements exercise programs for Cardiac/Pulmonary Rehab patients.
• Performs comprehensive patient assessments, vital signs, ECG interpretation, and functional testing.
• Educates on medication compliance, stress management, and healthy lifestyle practices.
• Develops and updates treatment plans; documents thoroughly; supports inpatient mobility.
• Mentors staff and contributes to protocol improvements and patient safety initiatives.
• Participates in quality improvement and patient satisfaction efforts.
• Trains new caregivers as needed.

Ausbildung

Successfully completes a formal EKG interpretation and arrhythmia detection course within 6 months of hire
