Job summary

HUB International in the United States seeks a Clinical Consultant to bring a clinical perspective to employee benefits consulting. You will review claims and utilization data to identify patterns in health trends, large claimant treatments, quality of care, population health, and cost, translating findings into actionable insights for client strategy.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize a varied workload and manage day-to-day responsibilities with minimal oversight.

Responsibilities

• Reviews and interprets medical and pharmacy claims data to identify utilization patterns and cost drivers.
• Learns and adapts to new reporting and technology tools to support client deliverables.
• Provides condition interpretation and risk education grounded in standards of care.
• Reviews clinical risk factors and treatment patterns among large claimants to support account teams.
• Identifies utilization patterns behind ER visits, hospital admissions and site-of-care opportunities.
• Shares clinical interpretation with the account team to support population health and plan strategy discussions.
• Prepares clinical deliverables for routing to account teams or client calls.
