Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health's Winchester Hospital is seeking a Clinical Associate to support patient care during 12-hour night shifts. You’ll assist with daily living activities, vital signs, specimen handling, and transport, contributing to safety and comfort in a 223-bed regional hospital serving northwest suburban Boston.

Required: high school diploma or equivalent, BLS, and English communication skills. Preferred: CNA or nursing student with rotation or CATP completion; basic computer skills.

Qualifications

• Must read, write and communicate effectively in English.
• BLS certification required.
• CNA or nursing student with clinical rotation or CATP completion preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living.
• Reposition and ambulate patients.
• Make occupied and unoccupied beds.
• Transport patients, beds, supplies and equipment.
• Collect, label and transport specimens.
• Retrieve and sign out blood products.
• Perform point of care testing accurately.
• Obtain vital signs and weights.
• Maintain intake and output measurements.
• Remove Foley catheters and saline locks.
