Applicants should hold a PhD degree in Computer Science or a closely related field.
Position Summary
The School of Computing at the University of Georgia invites applications for two clinical assistant professor positions starting August 2025. These are full-time 9-month non-tenure-track positions. The positions will involve teaching with other parts being a combination of corporate outreach, and/or program coordination, and/or research (with emphasis on applied and/or pedagogy related scholarship).
Additional Requirements
A candidate with an MS degree will be considered but must document a minimum of six years of professional experience and must be approved for a terminal degree exception before hire.

The candidate should have a minimum of 2 years of professional experience in the field that enables them to support student career preparation through connections with corporate partners/internships and/or career-development curricula.
Relevant/Preferred Education, Experience, Licensure, and/or Certification Preferred Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and/or Competencies
Background in Human Computer Interaction ( HCI ), Gaming, or a closely related field like application development is preferred. The candidate should also show a commitment to excellence in teaching.
