The Ernest Mario School of Pharmacy at Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, invites applications for a full-time, non-tenure track faculty position as a Clinical Assistant Professor in Infectious Disease.
The faculty member will hold a clinical appointment at Jersey Shore University Medical Center (JSUMC). The School is recognized nationally and internationally for its challenging and dynamic pharmacy programs. The Department focuses on clinical and regulatory aspects of pharmacy practice, preparing students for pharmaceutical care in various settings. JSUMC, part of Hackensack Meridian Health, is a teaching hospital with extensive clinical programs, including Infectious Diseases, which features an inpatient consult service and Antimicrobial Stewardship Program. Responsibilities include teaching, clinical practice development, committee participation, staff development, precepting residents, and community service.
