Posting Summary

The faculty member will hold a clinical appointment at Jersey Shore University Medical Center (JSUMC). The School is recognized nationally and internationally for its challenging and dynamic pharmacy programs. The Department focuses on clinical and regulatory aspects of pharmacy practice, preparing students for pharmaceutical care in various settings. JSUMC, part of Hackensack Meridian Health, is a teaching hospital with extensive clinical programs, including Infectious Diseases, which features an inpatient consult service and Antimicrobial Stewardship Program. Responsibilities include teaching, clinical practice development, committee participation, staff development, precepting residents, and community service. Opportunities for scholarly activities are available.

Qualifications

• Minimum Education and Experience: Doctor of Pharmacy degree, with at least two years of residency training or equivalent experience.
• Certifications/Licenses: Must be licensed or eligible for licensure in New Jersey. Board Certification in Pharmacotherapy (BCPS) or other relevant certification is expected within two years of hire.
