Deborah Heart and Lung Center in Indiana is seeking a Medical Assistant to support both clinical care and administrative tasks. You will assist physicians, handle scheduling, entry of charges and billing, and help patients access clinical services.

Occasional float to another office location may be required. Qualifications include a Medical Assistant Diploma with appropriate certification, plus minimum one year of experience in a medical facility.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year recent experience in a medical facility as a clinical assistant or externship completed in a medical office
• EKG, vital signs, and EMR experience required
• Medical Assistant Diploma from an accredited program; appropriate certification
• Licenses & Certifications: LPN, CMA, RMA, CCMA, MOA; American Heart BLS Healthcare Provider

Responsibilities

• Assists physicians with patient care and handling scheduling, entering charges and billing for services
• Provides information to patients so they may fully utilize and benefit from clinical services
• May float to another office location as needed
