Deborah Heart and Lung Center is seeking a full-time Medical Assistant to support physicians with patient care, scheduling, and billing. The role includes providing patient information to maximize service utilization and may involve floating to another office location as needed.
Required: Medical Assistant Diploma with certification, at least one year in a medical facility, and experience with EKG, vital signs, and EMR systems. Excellent communication with patients and staff is essential.
Qualifications
- Minimum one year recent experience in a medical facility as a clinical assistant and/or externship completed in a medical office.
- EKG, vital signs and EMR experience required.
- Medical Assistant Diploma from an accredited program and appropriate certification.
Responsabilités
- Assist physicians with patient care and clinical tasks.
- Handle scheduling and enter charges/billing for services.
- Provide information to patients to maximize use of services.
