Job summary

Rural Health Group, a multi-location Community Health Center in northeastern North Carolina, is seeking a CMA, LPN, or RN for a full-time position at our pediatric clinics in Roanoke Rapids.

Hours are generally Monday–Friday 8:00 am–5:00/5:30 pm. NC licenses or MA certification are required. Starting pay: CMA $19/hr, LPN $23/hr, RN $30/hr. EOE; bilingual ability a plus.

Job description

Rural Health Group, a multi-location Community Health Center in northeastern North Carolina, is seeking a CMA, LPN, or RN for full time position at our pediatric clinics located in Roanoke Rapids at our Halifax Medical Specialists office. Hours will generally be Monday-Friday 8:00 am - 5:00/5:30 pm.

Candidates must hold a current and valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the state of North Carolina, or must possess Medical Assistant (MA) Certification/Registration with documented hands‑on clinical training.

The starting rates for this position are as follows: CMA - $19/hr | LPN - $23/hr | RN - $30/hr.

The following clinical skills/experience are preferred:

• Phlebotomy
• Equipment usage (EKG, clinitek, Hemoglobin)
• Good documentation skills
• Tracking and maintaining medical data
• Immunization (adult and pediatric)
• Injections
• IV therapy
• Strong understanding of disease management for providing patient education at the direction of provider

REQUIREMENTS

• High school diploma or GED
• Active North Carolina LPN or RN license, or MA Certification/Registration
• Outpatient physician office experience strongly preferred

• Excellent leadership and teamwork skills
