Job summary

Aria Alessia Kids Center in Tacoma, WA, is seeking a Clinical Assistant to support children with autism and develop individualized, play-based learning experiences. You'll build warm relationships with kids and families while implementing evidence-based methods like ESDM and PRT.

You'll complete the required 40-hour RBT training, grow clinically through mentorship, and collaborate with a dedicated team to create a welcoming, organized, and safe clinic that fosters growth and joy in learning.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Completion of the 40-hour RBT training preferred.
• Experience with children in education, childcare, therapy, coaching, camps, mentoring, or volunteering encouraged.

As a Clinical Assistant, you'll spend your day building meaningful relationships with children through play, movement, creativity, books, games and everyday moments that become opportunities for learning.

A Better Way to Practice ABA

Our clinical approach combines evidence-based models such as the Early Start Denver Model (ESDM) and Pivotal Response Treatment (PRT) to create engaging, naturalistic, and play-based learning experiences.

In This Role, You Will:

• Help children learn through play, games, movement, reading and hands-on activities
• Build warm, trusting relationships with children and their families.
• Stay active and engaged throughout therapy sessions
• Help maintain a welcoming, organized, and safe clinic where every child can feel comfortable learning.
• Collaborate with a supportive team focused on helping kids grow and succeed
• Model the use of child-centered, relationship-based practices
• Complete the required 40-hour Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) training and continue developing your clinical skills through ongoing mentorship.

Qualification

Required

• High School Diploma

Preferred

• Completion of the 40-hour Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) training
• Experience working with children through education, childcare, therapy, coaching, camps, mentoring, or volunteer work
