Position Overview

Under the supervision of a certified clinician, assist practitioners in patient care and perform related tasks. This role involves preparing treatment rooms, assisting with patient procedures, documentation, inventory management, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist practitioners with patient care under supervision.
• Prepare treatment rooms, assist with molds, fabrication, and administrative tasks.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient care.
• Execute treatment plans and modifications as directed by clinicians, excluding independent assessments or final device fitting.
• Perform patient care procedures, including fitting and alterations of soft good items.
• Follow-up with patients under clinician supervision.
• Manage shipping, receiving, inventory, and vendor communications.
• Ensure all procedures align with clinician instructions and safety standards.

Supervision Level

Direct supervision requires the supervisor to be onsite and available for consultation during patient care, review, and countersign documentation within 15 days.

Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Preference for candidates with allied health certifications (e.g., PTA, OTA, Athletic Trainer).
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
