Job summary

The Center for Disability Services is seeking Clinical Assistants to support individuals in residential and day-to-day care across locations in the Capital Region. You will participate in interdisciplinary teams, assist with treatment plans, and promote independence while respecting personal choices.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, 1 year of DD experience, and ability to lift 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Associates degree preferred.
• At least 1 year of work experience with Developmental Disabilities required.
• Must be at least 18 years old to apply.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
• NYS driver’s license in good standing required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in daily treatment, care and services and promote independence for the people we support.
• Serve as member of individuals’ planning, implementation and interdisciplinary teams.
• Assist in implementing individualized residential habilitation services.
• Respect personal choices, lifestyles and the dignity of individuals, including informed risk-taking.
