Job summary

Everleap Fertility in Englewood, NJ is seeking a Clinical Assistant to support physicians and the clinical team with hands-on patient care. The role schedules Mon-Fri 5:30am-1:30pm with rotating Sundays, and pays hourly in a fast-paced fertility clinic.

Responsibilities include assisting with clinical procedures, documenting results, maintaining rooms and supplies, specimen handling, and communicating with patients about upcoming procedures to ensure a positive experience.

Qualifications

• 6+ months experience as a Medical Assistant in a physician practice
• Prior experience in women’s healthcare - preferred
• Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and occasional evenings

Responsibilities

• Assist Physicians with clinical procedures
• Follow proper protocols for all procedures
• Document ultrasound measurements and provider comments
• Chaperone ultrasounds and prepare rooms per protocol
• Set up and stock examination and procedure rooms
• Maintain clinical supplies inventory
• Specimen collection and processing for labs
• Provide patients with information and reassurance before during and after procedures

Clinical Assistant

Phlebotomist/Medical Assistant Full-Time Englewood, NJ, US

Salary Range: $20.00 To $24.00 Hourly

Everleap Fertility has a need for a Clinical Assistant in our Englewood clinic. This is a Monday-Friday 5:30am-1:30pm with rotating Sundays.

The Clinical Assistant will promote and restore patients’ health by assisting in the nursing process and supporting physicians and other multidisciplinary team members with hands‑on patient care. You will help to create a positive experience for our patients and ensure that patients receive high‑quality service by assisting clinical team with patient care.

Essential Functions and Accountabilities:

• Assist Physicians with clinical procedures
• Follow proper protocols for all procedures
• Accurately document ultrasound measurements, provider comments and use appropriate stim templates while chaperoning ultrasounds.
• Clean exam rooms and equipment per protocol.
• Set up and stock examination and procedure rooms.
• Maintain clinical supplies inventory.
• Specimen collection, processing for in‑house and outside laboratories.
• Manage Lanfax for outside labs, reports, results. Enter results and email to provider team for review.
• Provide patients with information regarding upcoming procedures and reassurance/comfort before, during and after procedures.

Academic Training:

• Completion of Certified Medical Assistant Program - preferred
• Studies level: Certification
• Studies area: Nursing/healthcare assistant
• Studies area: Phlebotomy Program

Position Requirements/Experience:

• 6+ months experience as a Medical Assistant in a physician practice
• Prior experience in women’s healthcare - preferred
• Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and occasional evenings

Technical Skills:

• knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Outlook and Excel - required
• EMR experience - preferred
