Job summary

ABA Centers of Puerto Rico in Caguas, PR invites a BCBA-certified Clinical Assessor to join our team and impact families by delivering standardized behavioral assessments and guiding case transitions. You will coordinate intakes, perform initial assessments, and support staff training in both home and clinical settings.

The role emphasizes collaboration with admissions, clinicians, and insurance partners to authorize services while maintaining compliant practices and patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• BCBA certification required.
• Minimum 3 years of experience supervising others.
• Clean background/drug screenings and driving record.

Responsibilities

• Work with Admissions and clinicians to ensure intake completion for prospective families/clients.
• Conduct initial assessments using standardized tools such as Vineland, ABAS-2, MBA, VB-MAPP, AFLS, EFLS, ABLLS, PEAK, MAS, QABF, FAST, etc.
• Ensure appropriate transition of cases after the initial assessment, including overlap meetings with families and the receiving team.
• Provide a maximum of 3 initial assessments per week in home and clinical environments
• Conduct peer reviews with insurance companies for authorization of hours
• Train staff on conducting initial skills and adaptive assessments

What You'll Do

Requirements
