Job summary

Medeloop seeks a Forward Deployed Engineer to deploy our systems in customer clouds, connect to their data tools, and build bespoke clinical workflows on our platform. You’ll own deployments from scoping calls to production, working with researchers, data engineers, and security teams to deliver trusted outcomes.

You’ll design and implement agent workflows, ensure security is integrated from the start, and translate complex needs into scalable, reusable solutions for healthcare environments.

Qualifications

• Experience building scalable agentic systems for long-horizon tasks.
• Experience with LLM APIs including tool calling and prompt/workflow design.
• Fluency with coding agents (Claude Code, Codex, Cursor) to ship high-quality code quickly.
• Hands-on experience with major cloud providers and their infrastructure.
• Experience with data lakehouses and warehouses.
• Excellent written and verbal communication across technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to turn ambiguous requests into scoped, shippable work, with security in mind.
• Nice to have: HIPAA-regulated deployments, EHR/FHIR data, and startup implementation experience.

Responsibilities

• Deploy customer systems in cloud environments with IaC and deployment pipelines.
• Build connectors and tools to access lakehouse tables and EHR data via FHIR.
• Translate team procedures into agent workflows and playbooks on Medeloop’s platform.
• Define evaluation criteria with customers and ensure workflows meet them.
• Scope workflows, estimate effort, test, deploy, and measure success against criteria.
• Maintain security by design and explain PHI handling to customer security teams.
• Transform bespoke builds into reusable connectors and platform features, avoiding one-off requests.
• Monitor deployed workflows and fix issues when customer systems change.
• Join discovery calls and help size work before pricing.
