Beth Israel Lahey Health (BILH) Winchester Hospital is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to join a Magnet-designated regional hospital in the northwest Boston area. The role covers both clinical tasks and unit-based administrative support, enabling the care team to focus on patient needs.

The position requires an CNA credential, a high school diploma, clinical rotation experience, and strong English communication skills.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED is required.
Certified Nursing Assistant credential is required.
Nursing student with one medical-surgical clinical rotation.
Three months of clinical care experience required.
Graduate of Winchester Hospital's Clinical Associate Training Program.
Preferred: at least one year of administrative support experience.

Responsabilités

Provide both clinical and administrative assistance on the unit.
Perform basic procedures to support patient care, comfort and safety; assist with ADLs, ambulating patients, bed making, transporting patients, collecting/labeling/transporting specimens, obtaining vital signs, and ECGs.
Welcomes and orients patients, family members and significant others to the environment.
Provides administrative support for the unit to help the care team focus on patient care.
Maintains accurate and complete medical charts, copies and faxes paperwork to expedite care across hospital departments and external sources.
