Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health (BILH) is seeking a Clinical/Administrative Associate for Winchester Hospital, a Magnet-designated regional hospital in the northwest Boston area. The role combines clinical and administrative support on the unit, with duties including ADL assistance, patient transport, chart maintenance and inter-department coordination.

Schedule includes 2, 12-hour day shifts per week and every other weekend/holiday rotation.

Qualifications

• Must read, write and communicate effectively in English with patients, visitors and hospital staff.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical and administrative assistance on the unit.
• Assist with activities of daily living, ambulation, bed making, transporting patients, specimen handling, vital signs, and EKGs.
• Welcome and orient patients, families and others to the environment.
