Job summary

Winchester Hospital, part of Beth Israel Lahey Health, seeks a Clinical/Administrative Associate to support patient care and unit operations. The role includes clinical tasks, chart maintenance and patient/customer-focused service on an evening shift schedule with every other weekend/holiday rotation.

Required: high school diploma or GED, CNA or related clinical training, English proficiency, basic computer skills, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write and communicate effectively in English with patients, visitors and hospital staff
• Basic computer knowledge required
• Excellent communication and customer service skills required

Responsibilities

• Provide both clinical and administrative assistance on the unit
• Perform basic procedures to support patient care (ADL assistance, ambulation, bed care, transport, specimen handling, vital signs, EKGs)
• Welcome and orient patients, families and others to the environment
• Provide administrative support to the unit to allow care teams to focus on patient care
• Maintain accurate and complete medical charts; copy and fax paperwork to expedite processes
