Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking).
• Strong listening and communication skills.
• Flexible schedule availability.

Aufgaben

• Maintain efficient patient flow.
• Ensures proper preparations for patient visit.
• Prepare pertinent information needed for patient visits.
• Schedule appointments.
• Answers phones, triage phone calls.
• Communicate between administrative team, clinical staff, and providers.
• Provide and explain required forms and paperwork at check in.
• Verify active insurance, in/out of network eligibility, and authorizations.
• Collect copays, coinsurance, and outstanding balances.
• Adhere to and explain financial policy to patients as needed.
• Verify, enter, and update patient demographic information.
• Connect patients with delinquent accounts to patient representatives.
• Manage physicians' calendars, scheduling meetings.
• Maintain and update physicians CVs.
• Assist in monitoring expiration dates related to licensure and dues.
• Coordinate business travel arrangements and conferences.
• Coordinate and facilitate activities, events, and projects.
• Initiate purchasing requests for supplies as needed.
• Keep management informed of high-risk situations.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance.
• Open/close the practice for the day.
