Job Description

Innovative business clinician responsible for building and maintaining customer relationships and leading account teams within all assigned accounts. Charged with delivering results that demonstrate value to the customer by identifying, demonstrating, and selling pharmaceutical care and cost solutions that meet desired outcomes. General management of the account, including P&L responsibility, and accountability for contract compliance. Develops and executes strategic plans for accounts in conjunction with sales and operations.

Responsibilities
  • Perform customer-centric pharmacy services.
  • Own overall account satisfaction for all assigned accounts.
  • Develop strong relationships with pharmacy departments or designated contacts.
  • Direct operations account managers to resolve customer service issues and support achievement of service requirements.
  • Maintain knowledge of all aspects of contracts and ensure ongoing performance through risk management activities.
  • Create and maintain partnerships through strategic business plans for long-term profitable relationships.
  • Ensure all customer and account-facing services are provided timely and consistently.
  • Demonstrate the value of pharmacy solutions including cost, utilization management, and patient care.
  • Identify opportunities for additional services to meet unmet customer needs.
  • Support clinical operations, claims processing programs, and client-specific pharmacy functions.
  • Manage financial aspects of accounts, ensuring revenue goals are met and expenses controlled.
  • Develop opportunities by understanding customer goals and strategic directions.
  • Drive up-sell of pharmacy solutions through consultative methods and ensure smooth contract execution.
  • Support sales in renewal activities.
  • Identify and retain high-performing team members.
  • Ensure staff training and development opportunities.
Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy
  • 2+ years of management leadership
  • 5+ years of pharmacy experience

Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Additional Qualifications
  • 3-5 years in clinical operations, quality, network, pharmacy, or project management; or a managed care pharmacy residency.
  • Ability to plan, organize, and monitor projects.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Basic financial analysis skills.
  • Knowledge of health plans and project management; provider experience preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master’s Degree
  • PharmD and state licensure in Pharmacy
Physical Demands
  • Remain stationary 50% of the time; able to move/traverse as needed.
  • Operate office equipment continuously.
  • Communicate effectively; exchange accurate information.
  • Occasionally lift/move up to 10-25 pounds.

Employees must comply with security responsibilities, legal, regulatory, and internal policies.

Potential pay ranges from $108,000 to $184,000 based on experience and skills.
