Job summary

U.S. Renal Care is seeking a Unit Clerk to join our Akron clinic team. You will support operations, greet patients, answer phones, and help with transportation arrangements to ensure a welcoming, efficient patient experience.

In this full-time role (36 hours/week), you will maintain medical records, prepare charts for treatments, assist in audits, enter charges, and help with billing logs. You will also manage supplies and support lab workflow as needed.

Qualifications

• Six months of relevant experience in clinical/healthcare setting preferred.
• Minimum one year experience in administrative position preferred.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office, (including Word and Excel).
• Must be able to organize time and tasks efficiently.
• Proficiency in USRC applications within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors, answer phones and assist with transportation arrangements.
• Maintain clinic operations by updating and maintaining medical records and preparing charts.
• Enter charges and prepare billing and patient attendance logs; complete required forms/reports.
• Ensure supplies and inventory; assist with lab slips and routing to the appropriate lab.
