Athletico in Peoria, IL is seeking a part-time Rehabilitation Aide to support clinicians and the Patient Experience Coordinator in a busy physical therapy clinic. You will greet patients, assist with treatments, and help with scheduling, inventory, and daily operations, while complying with state practice act requirements and maintaining a compassionate, team-focused approach.

This role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, prior rehab technician experience preferred, and strong

Qualifications

• Education: High school graduate or equivalent.
• Work experience: Previous Clinical Aide or Rehab Tech preferred.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Attention to detail and time management.
• Compassionate team player able to assist patients.

Responsibilities

• Prepares patients for physical therapy treatments and assists therapists.
• Safeguards, motivates patients during exercises under staff guidance.
• Provides routine treatments (hot/cold packs, modalities).
• Cleans work area and equipment after treatment.
• Washes linens, maintains linen cabinets.
• Maintains restrooms and restocks supplies.
• Assists patient experience coordinator with phones, scheduling, and filing.
• Assists with inventory and supplies for the clinic.
