Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years of clinical setting experience or similar administrative role preferred.
• Experience coordinating schedules, referrals, and authorizations within a clinical environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate clinical appointments, referrals, and pre-visit activities to ensure patients are prepared.
• Serve as the primary administrative contact for patients and care team communication.
• Manage the provider’s clinic schedule, including template adjustments and cancellations.
• Collaborate with Medical Assistants to schedule patients for clinic visits and procedures.
• Work with Revenue Cycle Operations to secure authorizations and inform patients about costs.
• Coordinate all surgical services activities from pre-op to post-op, ensuring continuity.
• Complete and track pre-operative orders (labs, imaging, consults).
• Monitor the provider’s surgical schedule and assign operating room blocks to maximize volume.
