Job summary

UW Health in Madison is seeking a Clinic Support Technician to support scheduling, assist with nasopharyngeal swabbing tests and other specimen collection, administer medications under supervision, and perform patient check-in with vitals, allergies and current medications.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma preferred.
• BLS certification required upon hire.
• Allied health programs or related certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete routine scheduling activities.
• Assist with nasopharyngeal swabbing tests and other specimen collection.
• Administer medication, including injections, under supervision.
• Perform patient check in, including obtaining and recording vital sign measurements, allergies, and current medications.
