MSPCA‑Angell is seeking an experienced manager for our Cape location in Centerville. The role is 40 hours per week, including weekends. Salary ranges from $65,000 to $75,000, depending on experience, and relocation assistance is available for out‑of‑state applicants.

Every day, thousands of animals in Massachusetts rely on the MSPCA for safety and care. As the Adoption Center Manager, you will lead our Cape Adoption Center by supporting staff, inspiring volunteers, engaging the community, and ensuring each animal receives the compassion and care they deserve.

What You’ll Do

• Guide and support an exceptional team of staff and volunteers.
• Collaborate with behavior and medical teams to improve quality of life and reduce length of stay for animals.
• Create positive, respectful experiences for adopters, surrenderers, and visitors.
• Lead group discussions, trainings, scheduling, performance development, and team culture initiatives.
• Oversee daily adoption center shelter operations, including intake, care, adoption, and euthanasia.
• Work with the volunteer and foster care coordinator to foster an inclusive and supportive volunteer culture.
• Provide euthanasia counseling while upholding the highest standards of respectful, compassionate care.
• Model the kindness and professionalism that define the MSPCA.

What We’re Looking For
