Qualifications

• High school education or its equivalent is required.
• Prior scheduler experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Answers telephones, triages messages and schedules patients’ appointments.
• Calls patients to remind and reschedule appointments when needed.
• Performs check-in with new and existing patients, updating demographics and insurance.
• Performs check-out including collection of payments.
• Creates, updates, and maintains medical records per clinic policies.
• Assists with end-of-day reconciliation and financials for the practice.
• Collaborates with administrator and billing department for account resolutions.
• Revises and maintains financial records as required by policy.
• Provides documentation for claims management and assists with insurance forms.
