Job summary

MercyOne North Iowa is seeking a Clinic Registered Nurse for its Vascular & Wound Center to deliver outpatient patient care, coordinate care with the clinical team, and educate patients and families about treatments and discharge plans.

The RN will administer medications and procedures, maintain EMR documentation, and support scheduling, referrals, and post-visit follow-up in a collaborative care setting.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Iowa; compact license acceptable where applicable.
• BLS certification required within 3 months of hire.
• Proficient in basic computer skills (Windows, web, email).
• Qualified candidates will read, write, and communicate effectively in English.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in outpatient settings and coordinate care with clinicians.
• Educate patients and families on treatments, medications, and discharge plans.
• Maintain accurate EMR documentation of assessments, vitals, treatments and education.
• Administer medications and treatments safely via multiple routes as applicable.
• Support providers with scheduling, referrals, admissions, and procedures.
