Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepares instruments, supplies and protective devices for exam and testing prior to the visit.
• Rooms and prepares the patient for examination and reviews histories and vitals.
• Orders and administers injections and collects specimens per provider orders.
• Provides patient instruction using approved education materials.
• Manages phone calls about test results and treatment as directed by providers.
• Assists with diagnostic procedures (e.g., EKGs, Nebulizer treatments) as directed.
• Maintains inventory and safety in the clinical area.
• Follows safety guidelines and reports unsafe conditions or incidents.
