Our bustling practice is growing and we are looking for a passionate and dedicated Clinic RN! As a part of our amazing nursing staff, you’ll play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and assisting our providers in a wide range of dermatology services. Our team emphasizes patient experience as top priority, with a healthy mix of fun, warmth, and professionalism. We offer a fast-paced (and fun!) work environment with a 4-day work week (Mon-Thurs) with no holiday, weekend, or night shifts required.

A day in the life:

1. Prepare patients for physical exams and procedures, explaining the process and addressing concerns.
2. Assist physicians to maintain workflow and meet patient expectations related to punctuality.
3. Monitor patient reactions and progress, documenting changes and reporting to providers.
4. Provide patient education, including handing out pamphlets, giving verbal instructions, explaining and recommending products, discussing medications and wound care, and answering questions.
5. Perform basic laboratory procedures, including documenting lab work and pathology, maintaining the laboratory, and reporting findings to physicians.
6. Maintain patient records in electronic medical records (EMR) with thorough documentation throughout the day.
7. Assist with procedures, draw blood, perform phlebotomy, telephone triage, and administer injections/local anesthesia per physician instructions.
8. Set up and prepare for MOHS, re-excisions, and laser procedures; assist with removals.
9. Maintain a clean, safe, and well-stocked exam and operating rooms, sterilize surgical instruments, and assist with laundry.
10. Identify and assess the need for physician involvement or changes in plan of care.
11. Perform other duties as assigned.

Compensation: $35-$37/hour plus annual bonus

Location: On-site - Omaha, Nebraska

Status: Full-time, Non-Exempt

Qualifications:

• Valid Nebraska RN license, BLS, and BSN required.
• Experience in providing top-notch patient care preferred.
• Highly motivated, upbeat, responsible, organized, and dependable.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Previous dermatology experience not required.
