Responsibilities

• Provide quality care to patients and their families as instructed by a physician.
• Document patient/family educational teachings and ensure patient understanding.
• Accurately document physician orders and patient phone calls following clinic policies.
• Administer medications and perform routine clinical procedures as directed by a physician.
• Assist with patient exams, implement treatments, and evaluate outcomes.
• Measure and document vital signs; maintain medical equipment.
• Order supplies efficiently, ensuring proper patient treatment and obtaining consent for procedures.
• Assist with referral procedures and patient education.
• Adhere to all policies, including dress code, safety, and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in staff meetings, communicate effectively with patients and staff, and maintain confidentiality.
• Serve as preceptor for new employees and practice resource stewardship.
