Qualifications

• Must be registered as a Pharmacy Technician with the MA Board of Pharmacy.
• National certification (CPT from PTCB) or exCPT within 6 months from start date.

Responsibilities

• Provides the highest level of customer service, including answering the telephone and greeting customers in person.
• Assist with medication preparation, including packaging, repacking, compounding, barcoding, or other manipulation.
• Delivers product to patient care areas, maintaining confidentiality and security.
• Maintains proficiency with technology: automated dispensing machines, robotics, barcoding, and computer applications.
• Supports inventory control, receiving, stocking, and replenishment.
• Ensures compliance with all laws, regulations, and accreditation standards.
• Keeps work areas clean, orderly, and compliant.
