Job summary

CCN Pharmacy in Newark, NJ seeks a Clinic Pharmacy Technician Liaison to support both clinic operations and pharmacy services. You will work with providers, staff, patients, pharmacists, and insurers to facilitate access, refills, and authorizations, while also performing pharmacy technician duties under supervision.

Responsibilities include processing prescriptions, inventory management, shipping, and regulatory compliance, with emphasis on patient education and seamless medication access

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current Pharmacy Technician registration/licensure as required by state law.
• Effective verbal and written communication in English and Spanish.
• Experience with prior authorizations and insurance processing preferred.
• Knowledge of pharmacy operations and prescription billing.
• Proficiency with pharmacy management systems and EMR.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a clinic-pharmacy liaison for medication-related processes.
• Collaborate with providers and clinic staff to facilitate refills and renewals.
• Coordinate and support completion of prior authorization requests and insurance documentation.
• Educate patients on pharmacy services, adherence programs, and delivery options.
• Document communications and activities per organizational policies.
• Maintain relationships with providers, staff, pharmacists, insurers and patients.
