Care New England is hiring a Specialty Pharmacy Technician‑Liaison to work with specialty clinicians and patients in Rhode Island. You will guide prior authorizations, financial assistance, and ensure prescriptions are directed to the CNE Specialty Pharmacy for optimal care.

The role emphasizes collaborative clinic integration, adherence monitoring, and data management to support high-quality patient services and operational efficiencies.

Qualifications

• High School or GED required.
• 1–3 years of Pharmacy Technician experience; 5+ years preferred.
• Registered in Rhode Island as a Pharmacy Technician.
• National CPhT certification must be obtained within 6 months of hire.
• Knowledge of specialty pharmacy reimbursement (state, federal, commercial).
• Proficient computer skills; EPIC, CoverMyMeds, McKesson a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients and pharmacists with total quality patient care.
• Encourage specialty clinic patients to use the CNE Pharmacy.
• Collaborate with clinic staff for prior authorizations and financial assistance.
• Direct prescriptions to the pharmacy and assist with insurance issues.
• Document in all required systems and maintain data accuracy.
• Support process improvements and patient care initiatives.
