Job summary

Genoa Healthcare, part of UnitedHealth Group, is hiring a Pharmacy Technician - Clinic Pharmacy Liaison (Medication Access Coordinator) to join an on-site clinic team. You will support coordination between Genoa pharmacy staff, partner clinics, and patients to promote timely access to medications and an excellent patient experience.

Under pharmacy leadership you will align clinic and pharmacy workflows, address barriers to access, and contribute to process improvements while complying with HIPAA

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED.
• Active Pharmacy Technician License in state of residence (or ability to obtain within 30 days).
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and follow processes.
• Access to reliable transportation (if travel is required).

Responsibilities

• Serve as an on-site pharmacy resource within the partner clinic to support coordination.
• Build relationships with clinic staff, providers, and pharmacy teams.
• Support prescription routing and prior authorizations.
• Monitor prescription status and resolve delays.
• Recruit and enroll patients into Genoa services.
• Conduct adherence outreach and manage refills.
• Coordinate medication delivery as needed and where permitted by state regulations.
• Maintain accurate documentation and insurance information.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA and regulations.
• Identify workflow gaps and support process improvements.
