Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of clerical experience required.
• 1 year of medical business office or significant public contact preferred.

Aufgaben

• Register patients expediently and collect accurate information.
• Schedule initial and follow-up appointments and procedures.
• Receive appointment calls and assign appropriate provider and slot.
• Collect payments and document receipts; prepare daily cash report.
• Enter ICD-10 and CPT-4 codes for patient activity in data systems.
• Transcribe non-medical dictation.
• Submit billing invoices to billing/collection daily under supervision.
• Assist in maintaining patient records and month-end reports.
