Blessing Health System is seeking a Clinic Patient Access Supervisor to oversee daily operations across clinic access points. You will ensure staffing efficiency, registration accuracy, and strong patient experiences while collaborating with leadership to meet goals.

This exempt role requires healthcare familiarity, strong communication, and the ability to cover shifts as needed. On-site work in the clinic setting with opportunities for professional development.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Health Care or related field or 1 year of Patient Access/related clinic experience.
• Extensive knowledge of registration, scheduling, and point of service collections.
• Computer literacy with Word, Excel, PowerPoint and other Office products.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Complete Medical Terminology course within one year of hire.

Responsabilités

JOB SUMMARY

This position is responsible for supervising the day-to-day activities of all assigned Clinic Patient Access areas/locations. The Clinic Patient Access Supervisor evaluates the department for effective and efficient utilization of staff and resources while ensuring all productivity, access to care, registration quality, patient experience, phone, and point of service collection metrics are at or exceeding goal. The position is responsible for broadening knowledge, promoting the growth of staff, and improving quality. Working closely with Clinic Leadership, Patient Access Director, and Revenue Cycle Leadership to achieve these goals. When required, staffs to cover all positions and shifts. This position reports to the Patient Access Manager.

Education/Training/Experience:

REQUIRED:

• Associate's degree with emphasis in Health Care or related field or minimum of 1 year experience in Patient Access, Pre Arrival Services, Clinic Reception, or related field in a clinic, hospital, or ambulatory setting


• Extensive knowledge of registration, scheduling, and point of service collections


• Computer literacy required, including the use of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Power Point, and other Office products


• Excellent written and verbal communication skills


• Excellent customer services skills, ability to problem-solve independently, and perform basic mathematical calculations


• Positive interpersonal relationship skills required.


• Complete Medical Terminology Course within one year of hire.


• The ability to maintain confidentiality is a requirement. Must be able to work hours and days as needed based on departmental/system demands and recognize the possibility of being on call.

PREFERRED:

• Bachelor's Degree with emphasis in Health Care, Business, or related field preferred


• Two or more years’ experience, in supervisory role preferred


• Medical Terminology preferred
