Responsibilities

• Assist patients through pre-registration, registration, and check-in.
• Greet callers and direct requests to appropriate departments.
• Capture accurate demographic and financial information (in person, online, or by phone).
• Identify patients and generate wristbands when needed, ensuring 100% identity verification.
• Explain and obtain signatures for general consent and HIPAA forms.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and electronic medical record documentation.
• Provide clerical support across departments and assist with PBX tasks.
• Handle shifts including days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays when required.
